Each morning, turn to today's date and read one verse of Scripture chosen with men in mind. Then write a few lines beside this year. Not an essay, not a devotional. Just a sentence or two about what the verse met in you today.
Next year, come back to the same page on the same day. The verse will be the same. You will not be. After five years, every page holds five versions of your walk with God, stacked where you can read them all at once.

The Trees of Scripture, Month by Month
Each month opens with a tree from the Bible and a verse about it, from the cedar of Lebanon in January to the trees of the forest in December. The same small drawing sits beside the date on every page of that month.
Every Page Becomes a Record of God's Faithfulness
Each date has five sections, one for each year. By the fifth year you can read how the same words of Scripture met you in five different seasons of life. (Handwriting shown is an example.)

No. It is undated, so you can begin on any day of any year.

The 366 verses are from the World English Bible, in clear modern English, including one for February 29.
What do the month pages look like?
Each month opens with a line drawing and a verse. In this edition the theme is The Trees of Scripture.
How is it different from the other Verse a Day editions?
There are five editions: Verse a Day, Verse a Day for Women, Verse a Day for Men, Verse a Day for College Women, Verse a Day for College Men. Each has its own list of verses and its own month art. The college editions have four years of space instead of five.
