Verse a Day

Each morning, turn to today's date and read one short verse of Scripture. Then write a few lines beside this year. Not an essay, not a devotional. Just a sentence or two about what the verse met in you today.

Next year, come back to the same page on the same day. The verse will be the same. You will not be. Do that five times and every page becomes something no other book can give you: the same words of Scripture, met by five different versions of yourself, stacked where you can read them all at once.
